grumpydragonsoft creates custom mobile database applications for touch screen type hand-held devices that use Windows Mobile. These hand-held devices can be Pocket PCs , PDAs or Smart-phones.

grumpydragonsoft provides several database applications to store a wide variety of information. Through these applications, you can have pertinent information as close as your hand-held device. The applications are easy to install and are easy to use.

Most applications are created for the 240w x 320h display and view best in Portrait mode. There are a few versions of applications created for devices with a slightly different screen size. These include the LG Incite and the HTC model. For hand held devices with displays different from the standard 240W x 320H screen size or if you are curious as to whether there will be any difficulties, check out the Development web page or email me.

Compatibility
grumpydragonsoft applications are compatible with Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 2003 SE, Windows Mobile 5.0 , Windows Mobile 6 (Classic or Professional), or Windows Mobile 6.1 (Classic or Professional).

grumpydragonsoft applications are designed to take advantage of the touchscreens of these handheld devices. Non-touch devices may find difficulty in navigating the forms, even if the applications fit the device’s screen device. If you find you would like to run the software on your non-touch device, please email me with the make and model and I will look into it.

Versions
There are several versions of each software, the webpage will always display the most recent version. When the version changes, it is most likely due to a minor adjustment of the software and has no bearing on previous versions. However, If you would like to be kept informed as to when there is an update for your form, please email me.

Import/Export
grumpydragonsoft forms provide the user with the ability to export the file as a comma delimited ASCII text file. The exported data can be easily imported into a favorite spreadsheet for further editing. In other words, the user can build the file on their desktop and then copy and import the file into their hand-held device.

Simple Installation Instructions
1. Download the zipped file from the website and save onto your desktop.
2. Extract using Win Zip, Pk Zip, 7-Zip or any other zip extractor program.
3. Unzip to a folder, preferably with the same name as the form to help you find it.
4. Open the folder and look for Setup.exe.
5. Double-click Setup.exe.
